McKenzie passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. McKenzie was a free spirit and beautiful soul that was taken too soon. McKenzie “Mackie” loved the outdoors, being in the mountains and most of all, snowboarding. She loved spending time with friends and family and loved dogs. She was carefree, beautiful, loving, funny and too smart for her own good. Anyone that knew her fell in love with her. She was a special and unique person that is irreplaceable. Her smile was infectious and her laughter contagious, she brightened every doorway that she walked through. McKenzie was a special sister, incredible daughter and loving granddaughter and friend. She touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her. She has gone to Heaven to be with her Mom and fly in God’s Kingdom forever. She will be in our hearts and souls until we meet again.
